Belated Happy Holidays to Everyone!

Hi there! Caprice here. Happy Holidays to everyone!

Wow it's been a busy week in my foster home. They celebrate this thing called Christmas and there have been lots of interesting things going on, but I've taken that all in my stride.

My foster mom said there is an Adoption Day coming up soon so I should tell you more about myself:

1. I'm a very happy girl! I like to show it too - helicopter tail, air snaps, nitting, smiles, zoomies - I have mastered all those wonderful greyhound traits. In the morning I am so happy to see my foster family awake I like to give them kisses in bed too!

2. I'm a very good girl in the house. I know to potty outside, I can do the stairs, I sleep all night on a dog bed in my foster parent's room (oh, and I like pajamas too, they keep me so snuggly warm!). I know to go in my crate to get my meals and treats. I haven't got into things and I know that counters are not for paws.

3. I like nothing better than 'roaching' and getting belly rubs. Well, any kind of snuggling really, but especially belly rubs. I'd like to get more snuggling on the couch too (preferably on a human lap). Foster mom said that is not allowed in the foster homes but that my new family might just let me...I sure would love that!

4. I have a foster sister that I love, we get on great and she looks just like me! I like to follow her around and she shows me the ropes.

5. Oh, I like sunshine too! I got to sunbathe on the deck today and we didn't even have to wear coats on our walk. (Rain is yucky).

Mmmmmmm, sun....

There are so many good sniffs when we go walking! (That's me at the back.)

I'm very happy here but I'm still looking out for my forever family. Could it be yours? Get your application in soon, I'll be waiting!

Caprice here! wow was today interesting!  Foster mom gathered us all up in the car and we went to this place in the country called Holly Ridge Manor, where we had something called a "play date" with a bunch of other greyhounds.

I sure liked all the attention I was getting from the other people there, but not so sure I enjoyed running with the pack.
there were SO many other greyhounds there! I did end up having fun eventually.  My foster sisters ran and ran, but I found something even better! A nice comfy hole in the sand.
Don't I look like a queen on a throne?  I would love to find my forever home and have a family all my own. Are you my forever family? If so , please drop an application, I can't wait to meet you.

Hi there! Caprice again! Its been a few days and I have been enjoying the good life of retirement!  Here's a pic to prove it.  My foster mom was super excited to find out that I had gotten into this position.  She said something about a "roach", not sure what that is exactly, I just know I was super comfortable and this is what I do when I am relaxed.
I also met this little guy the humans called "a beagle", he was ok.  Said his name was Doolittle, we sniffed and then I got distracted by all the sights and sounds that were around us. :) Foster ma said that was a good thing too!
Well we gotta get ready for this thing the humans are all excited about, Howl o ween or something, Foster mom and dad and grandma are gonna hand out something called candy. I am defiantly not sure what it is, but it sure sounds tasty! :) Talk to you guys later! and if you are interested in taking me home and give me great scritches and treats, drop Gegr a line or an application! I promise you won't regret it! Ta for now!

Excuse my grumpy look, I had just been rudely woken up after a really long day and I didn't know what was going on. I am never really grumpy, I was just super exhausted here.
My foster sisters and I are all having a biscuit, it was really tasty!

See here I DO have Ears, and they are so awesome!

Here I am (on right) with my foster sis, after breakfast.
I have found these chew things are not bad at all, I kinda like them! and of course, DOG BEDS!!! ahhh heaven!!
I do like looking out the door, there are so many interesting things going on!

Hi! I'm Caprice, I'm really new around town, and life sure has been busy these last few days.  I have arrived at my foster parents house (they had to explain what that was!) and am settling in.
My foster mom said she would post some pictures but I never stay still long enough for her to get a good one! She's still working on getting some good ones and said to tell you she will post them as soon as she can.
I have been told that I crate very well, am quiet and sweet.  I was told I get along with the two cats that live here, but in truth I think they are really kinda scary creatures, and I will do my best to avoid them.
I've been on several walks with my foster parents and their other greyhounds, my foster sisters, and there is just SO much to see!  I do good but occasionally something really scary will catch my attention and my ears (yes I DO have them) will go straight up like a foxes! I am doing good on the walks but tend to walk in zig zag pattern.
I eat in my crate like a champ and I watch and learn from my foster sisters what we are supposed to be doing around the house.  I am still unsure of people and treats and all the strange things in the house, but I will say that those things called dog beds are the BOMB! I love them!
well for now I gotta go, I will post back when my foster parents are out of the house and I can get to the computer. Shh! it's our secret! Ta!

Hi! I'm Caprice!

The earless wonder!  Just kidding, I have ears, but you'll have to come meet me to find out for sure!
